Les Rigden Tandem (L)

One of the most beautiful tandems you'll ever see..... Les was a terrific builder in Brighton, and the lugwork on this machine is stunning - I only wish my photos could do it justice.....
531 tandem tubing, seat tubes 59cm/55cm centre-to-top, top tubes 58cm/61cm centre-to-centre, 125mm head tube, 12-speed, 27" wheelset, Indexed Shimano bar-end shifters operating a Shimano RD-6500 rear mech and an Ultegra front mech, Shimano cantilever brakes, saddles are Brooks Professional for the pilot (slight splits to nose0, and a rare Brooks Professional S for the stoker. Cinelli A1 stem, Rims are Wolber Super Champion Modele 58 48/48H, with stainless butted spokes. Continental Gatorskin tyres are in great condition.
A terrific machine that deserves a good home to go to.
